About the book >. Lucy Toulmin Smith edited The Maire of Bristowe is Kalendar for the Camden Society in 1872. She was a very considerable scholar, and her edition is accurate, but she omitted much original material, including all of the eighteenth and nineteenth-century extensions of the chronicle, and all but one of the illustrations.
