Indo' Gebbeh carpet rug by Ikea in the 2000s, 170x240 cm, very good condition

Indo' Gebbeh carpet rug, retailed by Ikea sometime in the 2000s. It's Ikea's take on the 'Gebbeh' pattern wool carpets which originate from southwest Iran, and have a long tradition in Persian carpet history going back to at least to the 16th century. Gebbeh means 'unfinished' in Persian farsi. It's an authentic design and was made by skilled crafts people in India on a loom. 100 percent wool and hand knotted with a deep 20 mm thickness and a weight between 17 to 20 kg. This is a good size carpet at seven feet ten inches by five feet seven inches - 170 x 240 cm It is in excellent condition.
