The 1944 S Penny Error One Cent Wheat Penny is a rare find minted by the U.S. Mint in San Francisco. This circulated coin features a copper composition and a red-brown color, struck as a business strike. With a denomination of Small Cent, this coin is a valuable addition to any Lincoln Wheat collection. Errors abound on the reverse in all places, some errors show on the obverse. Shattered die apparently. Raised metal lines, cuds, miss formations of lettering. Note some lettering on the reverse are taller, wider with doubling evident.
