Brackets used should be flush against the wall. Not for cantilever/full motion TV brackets. Max weight shown indicates max sheer load (suspended from a fixing, mounted in a vertical wall with a load or weight attached to that fixing and acting vertically downwards) on 15mm plasterboard.
