Originally built as part of a Kysor Westran A/C and back up unit this is a 4.5 kw single phase diesel mains generator with a water cooled Kubota engine and Markon generator. Mounted with flexible mounts on a steel frame which is then on an aluminium tray, the whole unit measuring 80cm long x 54cm wide and 48cm tall. It has 24 volt electric start and its own 24 volt alternator. Although it is an old unit it has only been run for 163 hours as it was installed in a sailing barge as a back up generator.
