A much sought after large dinner plate by Ashworth in their pattern 3194. Ashworth Masons " New Japan " pattern plate. Ashworth were awarded the Royal Warrant in 1862 and this plate is marked upon the reverse with that early large warrant crest along with their impressed mark.
