While the hand-made wooden table top dates from the Edwardian era or possibly the 1930s, dansette legs were not a feature of English furniture until the late 1950s or 1960s. It appears, therefore, that the glass was removed from the Edwardian mirror and it was upcycled into a coffee table in the 50s or 60s by the addition of the dansette legs, which are in beech.
