Josef Herou. Carl Josef Nicanor Herou, born October 6, 1884 in Gävle, died March 10, 1960, was a Swedish opera singer ( baritone ). Herou was a blacksmith from the beginning. He was noticed during his military service for his voice by the officers, who arranged money for his training.
