This map is dominated by the mountainous Parque natural de las Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama. This map lies to the East of map 1040-III and includes several popular hiking areas as well as Pico Malascamas and the Puerto de Competa which is well marked both on the ground and on the map.
