Stripped from a NEC UHF TV transmit power amplifier.Untested but should be fine.BLF888A transistorP1dB at 50V supply is 400W P sat is somewhere around 700 watts so be careful you have a big enough heatsink and cables!I did a quick bias at 1.3A per device (I used a separate 5volt variable PSU into each of the the PCB bias inputs. To fit to heatsink , it is best to carefully unsolder the device from the PCB and re-solder once the PCB is screwed down onto the heatsink. Power wire needs unsoldering from underside of PCB and re-soldered on top. Cover exposed islands and tracks on underside of PCB with Kapton tape.will need m3 screws to bolt it down onto a very big heatsink - it needs huge amounts of cooling!Ideal for DATV at around 100W output.
