This amplifier features the current damping circuit developed by QUAD, functioning as a pure Class A amplifier with low output levels. It pairs exceptionally well with British speakers such as Tannoy, making it ideal for listening to classical music. Maintained in April 2023, its major electrolytic capacitors and degraded capacitors have been replaced, PCB models have been repaired, and damaged solder joints have been welded.
