This high-quality DAC features the Cirrus Logic CS4397 chip, also used in the premium SA-14ver.2 model, which delivers clear, crisp sound for both SACD and CD playback. It incorporates a newly designed audio-specific mechanical module and uses a 4-layer epoxy glass board for the servo and decoder circuits. Device supports SACD text but does not support CD text.
