A3 reproduction poster from London’s longest running gay leather bar The Backstreet (1985-2022). Before The Backstreet commissioned artist Tom of Finland his two iconic leather man and rubber man drawings which became synonymous with the bar, there were several designs to help promote the business. This poster was designed shortly after the 1985 opening, and any originals are very hard to come by. This reproduction, with “The Backstreet, London” embossed in the lower right corner, were printed at the time of the bar’s closure.
