With 600wrms power handling and 20mm of xmax/excursion, this subwoofer is capable of playing VERY loud, while maintaining an excellent degree of sound quality. This is a 4 ohm subwoofer so would work wonderfully off a large 2 channel class a/b amplifier with 600-800wrms of distortion free power being fed to it.
