A clean, spacious and solidly-made carpenters/joiners wooden toolbox with full-width drawer which hinges out. This well-made 1950’s or 1960’s toolbox has durable latch closures, heavy leather strap, corner protectors, brass lock (but no key) and two retaining brackets for wood saws. There are a few minor scrapes and paint spots to the wood on the exterior which contribute to an authentic patina. Dimensions are 81cm x 41cm x 16cm (c. 32” x 16” x 6”) i.e. a bit longer and deeper than some of the similar-looking but smaller toolboxes on eBay. An excellent toolbox for storing carpenters and/or other tools, or a great box for e.g. art materials.
