Wooden scaffolding used to be commonplace, and could still be seen on construction sites until the 1980s. The model, consisting of individual ladders, scaffolding planks and boards for diagonal braces and railings in sufficient quantities, is very suitable for scaffolding a building on our “Schmidtstrasse” on two sides.
