Mohammad Asad was an advisor at the king's court of Saudi Arabia, an early supporter of the creation of Pakistan, UN ambassador and author of one of the finest English translations of the Koran. He served as an advisor to the royal court of Saudi Arabia and was a co-founder of Pakistan and its Ambassador to the UN.
