A scarce 17th century bed warmer with a forged iron handle and brass pan, Northern European and likely Dutch. The ornate repousse design on the pan lid has a lion and intertwined foliage with scattered punched stars. Overall good condition considering age and daily use. Brass pan with patina, dents, scattered losses, old repairs, etc. Please see all photos for condition. Would look lovely as a wall hanger in a kitchen or near a hearth!
