The short throw rangefinder has a clear image patch and is smooth to use. Nice and clean inside with new light seals. The quality Olympus E.Zuiko 42mm f/2.8 lens is clean and clear. A little switch hidden in the hot-shoe detects if a flash is fitted disabling the auto-exposure and allowing you to select the flash guide number.
