First released in 1945, the Rolex Air King can be seen as a somewhat in-between watch. While lacking the size and presence of a Professional Rolex model, it is nevertheless presented on a brushed Oyster bracelet and a sturdy stainless steel case. While it may have been closer to a sports watch at the time of its introduction, today the 34mm case and relatively simple dial has made it a very versatile watch suitable for every occasion.
