Old cast iron grate/vent, the outside measurements are approximately 18 inches long by 14 inches wide by approximately 1/8 inch thick. The grate has a lip all around the edges. This grate will require the hole in the floor to be approximately 16 1/4 inches long by 12 1/4 inches wide. I checked the grate over pretty well and found no cracks, just lots of surface rust. The grate has some old, faded, worn, possibly, white paint. The grate will need to be cleaned, sanded and refinished, if you don't like the rust. I am selling the grate as is, no returns, no refunds. The grate is pretty heavy. As it sits, it weighs 9.36 pounds, according to my digital scales.
