This is a project that I bought exactly as shown here from Rails, but I have now decided I don't have the time to do the work on it. I have converted one of these from 3 rail course to 2 rail finescale before a few years ago and the end result was excellent - they even have cam-driven chuffing smoke! The Lionel loco is very solidly made and everything comes apart and goes back together easily, and the Slaters wheels and crank pins are worth more than £100 on their own.
