All branches can be adjusted as wanted. Base is wrapped in burlap. To light up it requires 2 "C" batteries. Battery compartment is located on the bottom of burlap base and is covered by a burlap flap. (see pictures) No imperfections. No special box. Selling as I have downsized my home.
