These have a built in crossover and spade connections and are designed to be connected in parallel to supplement existing speakers to give increased air, ambience and treble energy. Very useful and effective if your listening room is acoustically "Dead". I used them for a weekend and was impressed but decided that I needed more directional supertweeters e.g. Fostex T90a, because my listening room (A conservatory) is already acoustically lively.
