A charming antique black steamer trunk, made from vulcanised fibre by the National Vulcanised Fibre Co, dating from the early 20th century. The trunk has a leather handle, brass plated locks, clasps and re-enforced corners with red stripes detail, previously used by a brass band, stencilled ‘Special blend of music’ on the front and back with a Bournemouth phone number. It measures 74cm long x 51.5cm deep x 23.5cm high. It has surface marks / scratches and lots of general wear from age and use, otherwise all in sturdy antique condition.
