A charming vintage Chinese hand carved camphor wood jewellery box / small chest, dating from the first half of the 20th century. The box is ornately carved on all sides and features people, houses, mountains and flowers. It has a decorative brass clasp and brass hinges. It measures 25cm long x 14.5cm wide x 14.5cm high. It has some small surface marks, otherwise all in genuine vintage condition and has the distinctive camphor wood aroma.
