Insert a VHS tape. Insert the included blank DVD, (this machine uses both - and + recordable DVDs). Press VHS to DVD on the front. Press stop when done. Simple. Please note: VHS tapes are viewed over SCART. This machine does not have HDMI. You will need a TV with SCART or composite, (red, white and yellow). You can buy a SCART to HDMI adapter separately for a modern TV.
