In good clean condition. Although it dose have some indentation of where the pen has been used inside of this, i have shown in pictures the wear. The wear shown dose not affect its working at all. This comes as unit only and requires 2 AA batteries which i will include with sale. It is fully working and has been used and thoroughly tested. No books included unit only.
