Over a ribbon bow diamond stamp on the underside of the pedestal base. Other possible stamps obliterated from age, use and cleaning. Head visible in lozenge under the lip edge. Believe this cup to be foreign silver. The engraving on the side appears to depict a stylized archway with leaf motifs, similar to a Russian silver Kiddush cup from 1889. The marks on the side of the cup are likely hallmarks, which are used to identify the metal content, origin and year of manufacture.
