Semi-fermented tea Formosa Cinnamon Tung Ting Oolong 1kg The basis for this specialty is the Jade Tung Ting Oolong from the Nantou district in the Taiwanese highlands. The production principle is similar to that of jasmine or rose tea. Finished tea leaves are mixed with dried cinnamon pieces in approximately equal parts and then gently heated in a floor dryer at a low temperature. The ingredients then “rest” together for a week before the cinnamon portion is sieved out again. The end product is an aromatic, soft oolong tea with a subtly sweet, fruity cinnamon note.
