A rare and interesting vintage ice axe made in Switzerland by Gebr Andenmatten with wooden shaft, and dating from the 1920s/30s. It has a serrated pick and pointed ferrule. It measures 91cm long x 31cm wide across the top. It has some surface marks and scratches from age and use, otherwise all in good vintage condition.
