A vintage ice axe made in Austria by Stubai with wooden shaft, and dating from the 1950s/60s. It has a serrated pick and pointed ferrule, stamped Stubai, Nanga Purbat. It measures 85cm long x 28cm wide across the top. It has some surface marks and scratches from age and use, otherwise all in good vintage condition.
