A rare and interesting vintage Stubai ice axe with wooden shaft, made in Austria and dating from the 1950s/60s. It has a serrated pick and pointed ferrule, stamped Mod. Stadler, Stubai. It measures 81cm long x 30.5cm wide across the top. It has some surface marks and scratches from age and use, otherwise all in good vintage condition.
