This is a Royal Worcester porcelain egg coddler in the discontinued Palmyra pattern. Egg coddlers are porcelain containers used to soft-cook eggs in boiling water without placing the egg directly in the water. The pattern features a blue, teal, and red floral design on a white background and was produced from 1974 through 1978. The coddler is made of fireproof hard porcelain with a stainless steel lid.
