Antique mid Victorian cast iron fireplace insert with finely cast fluted and bead arched grate and generous fire basket with curved bars topped with iron finials. Circa 1855. Finished with traditional black grate polish, complete with a later curved ash cover, new clay fireback and bottom grate ready for a solid fuel fire.
