box is also open but everything inside is still sealed, it opened while I was taking ot out of storage. I put too much pressure on box when picking it up and seal opened. Box has some damage and surface marks from storage. This set is best suited for someone looking to build and enjoy, rather than a collector seeking a mint-condition display box.
