This frog, which is designed for use with a 1 3/4" width cutting iron, has the distinctive solid brass adjusting nut used on the very first Stanley bench plane. Fully 95% of the original black japan finish remains on this essentially unused frog mechanism. The original screws and washers to secure the frog mechanism to the plane body are included as well.
