Important Information – Please Read This is a FortiGate 60E firewall appliance. Early 60E hardware revisions use a Marvell 88E1512 PHY chipset on the factory-designated WAN1 and WAN2 ports. On some fibre/ONT or modem connections, these ports may negotiate at 100Mbps instead of 1Gbps due to known auto-negotiation behaviour. If your internet service is over 100Mbps, you can simply: Use any LAN port or the DMZ port as your WAN interface Reassign the interface in the FortiGate configuration All other ports operate at full gigabit speeds without issue. This does not affect general functionality and is a well-known characteristic of early 60E units.
