This is why they created two medium swirl removers. SSR2 is meant for more obvious paint flaws while SSR 2.5 is formulated as a one-step, medium strength polish which requires no finishing polish. SSR2 contains mild abrasives and cleaners in a thick, blue cream. It will gently remove light to moderate swirls, scratches and oxidation that are too pronounced for the light swirl remover. Though this formula has a little more bite than the pink SSR1, it's still safe for all clear coats, paint finishes, gel coats, chrome, glass, plastic and Plexiglas.
