Both the sleeve and the screw have a combination slot/ pozidrive end so you can use either type of screwdriver on them. Both parts are made from bright zinc plated steel. The thickness of material you can join with these ranges from 30mm with the screw all the way in to 43mm with the screw just a couple of threads from the end.
