After two successful test events, Tottenham Hotspur officially moved into the new ground on 3 April 2019 with a Premier League match against Crystal Palace which Spurs won 2–0. Construction on Spurs’ new stadium started in 2016, and the new stadium was scheduled to open during the 2018–19 season.
