Note: DVI-D to HDMI-compatible conversion does not transfer sound. Therefore, this adapter is only for transferring the video signal between DVI and HDMI-compatible devices. Although the adapter supports connecting to a DVI-I connector, it will only process/produce DVI-D & HDMI-compatible signals.
