A lovely all silver butter knife, dating from the mid Victorian period. This excellent piece has a lovely curved and engraved silver blade. The handle is repousse with flower buds embossed to the sides and a sunflower terminal. There are the original engraved initials to the cartouche. A handsome, practical example and a great gift idea. Dimensions are length 19.5cm, width of blade (widest point) 2.4cm and depth 1.1cm. Condition is excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver. Hallmarks are clear and readable.
