Enable Data Roaming for the installed eSIM. Make sure eSIM is selected as the cellular data source. The eSIM plans are for DATA ONLY. Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code, then scan the eSIM QR code to install eSIM profile to your phone.
