Although this boat will take a max engine of 3.5hp, you can equally you can use engines from 2hp that will happily push this boat around at speeds of approx 4-6mph. You can also use the inexpensive 12v electric motors and a leisure battery, this will move the boat easily, but at slower speeds of around 3-4mph, perfect for fishing.
