All signals transmitted to the receiver are 1080p at best. Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source, then connect the receiver to the HDTV/projector, connect the power and you're ready to go. It is better to have no obstacles (walls) and the transmission distance is enough to cover the whole classroom, conference room, and place.
