Anvil length is 70cm / 27” and the stake is 35cm / 13” tall. Weight 4 kg. The stake is driven into a tree stump for a secure fixing that doubles as a work surface. Possibly by a travelling craftsman, to set up a small forge in a village where there was no resident blacksmith.
