This oak bureau made around 1750 has many good points. The size is only 36 ins wide . The fall and drawers are all cross banded in walnut . It has its original key and locking device and the interior is known as ‘stepped interior and well’ the well being a secret compartment. The condition is good and a lovely colour The interior of the fall showing signs of wear ax should be expected of a piece some 275 years old.
