An interesting one. This was passed on to me by an elderly bass playing friend of mine. It originally had a headstock however he preferred headless and was a bit of a tinkerer so this is what we have. It’s a really nice one piece maple neck with skunk stripe and a smooth satin finish. It was never used so frets are untouched. I don’t know enough about headless bass necks to know how ready it is for a nut so I’ll invite you to study the pictures & leave it for you to decide.
