Original vintage antique historic map of the world showing both the Western and Eastern Hemispheres by John Bartholomew FRGS. Dated 1870. It is 155 years old. This map shows both hemispheres, mountain ranges and the principal rivers such as the Mississippi, Ganges, Irrawaddy and the Thames to name a few. The map is showing signs of age with yellowing paper and tears along the edges of the paper. Would look great mounted and framed as an art print for wall decor. Ideal map collectors, cartophiles and those interested in cartography. The map is taken from The Academic Atlas 1870 by Collins. This is an original map, not a reproduction.
